Are these legal?
Yes! All records that are plated and framed have been acquired from proper channels (record labels, distributors, record stores and the artists themselves).
Are these real records?
Yes, when you pay for our plating and framing services, we are using the actual vinyl.
Are they real gold?
Yes, all of our 24-karat gold products are made using actual gold. Unlike other services, we don’t cut corners with fake metal, spray paint or other imitation materials.

Are gold records playable?
Our gold and silver products are meant to be commemorative home decor, rather than playable records. The metallic records are framed for that reason. If you take the record out of the frame to try and play it on your turntable, you will void your warranty. We are not responsible for any damages to the frame, record, or any counterparts if you choose to take your record frame apart. We do not have enough research about the long-term effects of this on your needle or on the gold record.

Why can't I press my own playlist or mixtape to vinyl?
In order to press music onto vinyl, you must have the rights to reproduce the music being pressed. The process to acquire licenses is quite long, tedious and expensive, with most record labels requiring large volume minimums to extend the appropriate licenses.
If you’re looking to commemorate a special moment in your life, we have thought of other options for you.
Create your own framed “record” with a custom jacket and/or center label. If you want to link it to a digital playlist (for example, on Spotify) we can place a QR code on your center label.
What is the lead time on a gold record?
Anything in our collection will be ready to ship to you in 2-3 weeks. Special and Custom orders will vary depending on availability and how quickly we get information we need from you.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship within the United States.
How can I request a refund/return?
While we hope this is never the case, items severely broken during shipping can qualify for a refund. Please send email@example.com your order number and a photo of the damages in question, and they will get back to you within 72 hours.
For all special request custom orders, all sales are final. We will be sure to confirm the album you want beforehand, to make sure all parties on the same page. For items severely broken during shipping, please follow standard practices as mentioned above.
